In keeping with the instructions of Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, renowned folk singer of Uttarakhand Kabutari Devi has been admitted in the Private Ward of AIIMS for medical treatment on Friday morning.
Chief Minister Bahuguna had a talk with Professor Ramesh Deka, Director, AIMMS and Dr. DK Sharma regarding proper arrangement for her treatment. The entire expense of her treatment would be borne by the State Government. The Resident Commissioner Office and doctors of Uttarakhand posted at Delhi extended all necessary help for the admission of Kabutari Devi in AIIMS.
As soon as she was admitted, the doctors from Medicine Department and ENT Department started the treatment. First she was taken to Emergency Ward and then to the Private Ward. According to the doctors her condition is stable.
